Hamster Obituaries

As you all know, after all my hamsters passed away, I dedicated an entire website to them! I am a big believer of not forgetting any pets after they passed on. This post is a Hamster Memorial Blog where people can post about their deceased hamster within the comments section. It’s very sad when our special friends pass on (the pain will never really go away, it just decreases over time)…let the world know about them, this way, they will always be remembered! I will start with mine...they were all my adorable hamsters that I had over the years before my dog.

Baby was Princess' mother. Her death was unknown to us. She was very healthy! We gave her a new cage and then the next day, she passed away. Princess will be in our hearts forever!

Baby was Licker's mother. We were devastated when Licker died! He was a beautiful petite long haired teddy bear hamster. We loved him so much and will never forget him. He will always be remembered!

Name: Lucky
Color: Black
After Licker, I didn't want anymore hamsters. We got 2 parakeets. However, I couldn't resist. I went to a pet store and bought Lucky. Little did we know, she was pregnant! Her body started to show signs a week later. We were blessed with more baby hamsters! Lucky died of old age. We miss her dearly!

Name: Cherry
Color: Beige and White
Cherry was the oddball out of all of Lucky's pups. All the other pups where brown/white and black/white. She was a special one! We totally adored her. She was beautiful! Cherry will always be in our hearts.

Name: Snicker
Color: Brown and White
Lucky was Snicker's mother. He was adorable and reminded me a lot of Licker. He had a thick undercoat with long hair...a very furry little guy! We really miss him a lot! *sigh*

Gentle was Lucky's pup. He was so nice and furry! He was a long haired teddy bear hamster, bigger than Snicker was. He had the cutest face. Never will we forget Gentle! Forever he will be in our memories!

Lilypad, was a sweet, smart, fun-loving, inquisitive Syrian female hamster. We purchased her as an adult at the Petco in Forestville, MD on December 28, 2012 as a Christmas gift for my 8-year old daughter, Miss Nevaeh Lilly. Lilypad departed this life on February 27, 2013. She loved company, her wheel and berry-flavored yogurt snacks. Lily, you took a part of our hearts with you when you died. "You are gone but NEVER 4GOTTEN!"
