Constantly trying to run away from being petted | “Please leave me alone, I don’t want to be handled right now…” | The hamster has had enough of petting time. |
Folded back ears | “Ugh…I am having such a bad time!” | The hamster is not happy, aggressive, or is in a very bad mood. |
Squeaking | “I don’t want to play anymore, please put me back in my cage, or else!” | Do not continue to do whatever you are doing with the hamster; put it back in its cage. It is another sign of being very unhappy and if you continue, it will nip. |
Flinching | “Ah!” | There was a noise that made the hamster scared. |
Lying on its back, baring its teeth | “Beware! I will attack you!” | The hamster is frightened and is prepared to attack. |

Leaping | “I am so happy right now; everything is working out great!” | The hamster is expressing how happy it is. |
Yawning and Stretching | “Ahhh…what a good sleep that was!” | The hamster is feeling comfortable. However, do not attempt to pick it up while it is stretching. |
Grooming | “It’s that time of day…I got to keep myself clean.” | The hamster is cleaning itself. |
Chewing on cage bar | “Boy, I am so bored right now.” | Most likely, you can take your hamster out and let it play when it’s chewing on the cage bar or you can give it a chew toy. |
Sitting up on haunches and is very still | “What was that sound?” | The hamster discovered something interesting and is on alert mode. |
Collecting nesting materials | “I will have my pups soon, so I must gather nesting materials to prepare myself.” | The hamster is getting ready for the birth of her pups. It is best not to bother her at this time. |

So...I spent all day looking for a nice blogger template and worked on the new layout. I like it a lot better than the ones I used in the past. I will be transferring the content on my website to this blog since today is the last day it will be up and running online. Stay tuned.
